Who We Are
The Davis Pre-Law Society is an all-inclusive pre-law club at UC Davis.
DPLS is a place where students who are interested in the legal field can feel included on campus, develop themselves as students and as people, and find their community with other students.

Inclusion
Our first core value is inclusion, the action of being included within a group. At the Davis Pre-Law Society, we seek to incorporate all different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. We acknowledge that creating a diverse community fosters knowledge, acceptance, and develops a successful organization. We do this by creating diverse presentations, having an approachable and adaptable mindset, and raising cultural awareness throughout our events.
Self-Development
Our second core value is self-development, the process by which a person’s character or abilities are gradually developed. Our goal is to foster a growth mindset and help our members expand their soft and hard skills to succeed in their future endeavors. Hosting a variety of events, speakers, and training allows our members to grow the skills that they can use to achieve their educational and career goals.

Community
Our third core value is community, a group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common. We strive to create a positive and strong community through the Davis Pre-Law Society by prioritizing friendship and networking. A community allows us to share our resources and knowledge which produces a far greater impact than just as individuals.
