How can I Join?

In order to become a member of the Davis Pre-Law Society, you must do the following:

1. You must be a current undergraduate student at UC Davis. There are no major, GPA, or year requirements to join.

2. Apply using the correct Recruitment Application.

3. Pay dues for the year (amount is subject to change per year). If you are unable to pay your dues, contact us.

4. One you have done the steps above, you will be onboarded onto our Slack Workspace, Newsletter, and AggieLife and will be a member of DPLS!

What do I have to do after I join?

Every member must attend at least two General Meetings, one Professional Development Event, and one Social Event per quarter. Our General Meetings are every other Wednesday from 7-8pm, depending on official school breaks. Our PD and Social Events are typically held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

If you are unable to meet your meeting requirements, please reach out to President Anisa Patel or Vice President Carissa Takaki before the end of the quarter.

If you do not meet your meeting requirements or contact the appropriate people, you will be removed from our Slack channel, newsletter, and AggieLife and will no longer be a member of DPLS.

We really want you to make the most out of this club, especially since you’re paying to join! The most important thing is to communicate with us and we will be more than happy to make accommodations for you!
